For plumbing contractors

Plumbing marketing
for whoever answers first

Plumbing is the most emergency-led trade on this list, which means it is the one where marketing is decided by your phone rather than your ads. A homeowner standing in water does not leave a voicemail and does not compare three quotes. They call down the list until somebody picks up.

Free 30-minute look at where your calls come from now. No deck, no retainer talk.

What makes plumbing demand different.

Diagram: inbound calls from many homeowners narrow through the pipeline — new call, contacted, quoted — down to booked jobs.

Four things cost plumbing companies more booked work than a badly written ad ever will. All four happen in the ninety seconds after the phone rings.

Nobody leaves a voicemail about a burst pipe

The highest-intent call in the trade is a homeowner with water on the floor, and they are already dialling the next company before your voicemail greeting finishes. Every hour your phone is unattended is not a slow hour. It is a hour of paid clicks handed to whoever answers.

The emergency is the cheap job

A clog cleared at midnight is a few hundred dollars. The repipe, the water heater and the sewer line behind it are the year. Most plumbing companies market the emergency and never build anything that turns it into the second conversation.

You are paying for calls that were never jobs

Wrong numbers, tenants whose landlord decides, people fifty miles outside your radius, and vendors. They all look identical in a cost-per-lead report, and they are why the number in that report has never matched what the week felt like.

Membership plans get sold at the door, or not at all

The one thing that makes a plumbing customer worth more than a single ticket is almost never marketed. It gets mentioned by a tech at the end of a service call if he remembers, and the existing customer list is never contacted again.

What we run for plumbers.

Intake first, and that is not a formality in this trade — it is most of the work. Then the channels that feed it.

Local Services Ads

The Google Guaranteed slot above every other result, where a homeowner with a leak taps first. Priced per lead and awarded partly on how fast you answer, so it is the channel that punishes a missed call hardest.

  • LSA
  • Google Guaranteed
  • Badge setup
  • Dispute recovery

Google Ads

Call-only campaigns on emergency terms, running the hours you can actually answer rather than around the clock into a voicemail box. Repipe, water heater and sewer terms kept separate, because those are considered decisions and convert nothing like a 2am clog.

  • Call-only
  • Emergency terms
  • Dayparting
  • Radius targeting

Meta Ads

The jobs nobody searches for until they fail. Water heater age, repipe for the housing stock that needs it, and retargeting everyone who called once about something small and has not been back.

  • Water heater
  • Repipe
  • Neighborhood targeting
  • Retargeting

Maps & local SEO

Where the non-emergency work comes from: fixture installs, water heaters, second opinions. Google Business Profile, review velocity after every completed call, and a page per town rather than one page claiming the whole county.

  • Google Business Profile
  • Review requests
  • Service areas
  • Schema

Website development

Fast on a phone held in one hand while the other holds a towel. The number tappable above the fold, hours and service area stated plainly, and a booking form that asks for four things.

  • Tap-to-call
  • Core Web Vitals
  • Hours clarity
  • Landing pages

Mission Control CRM

Every call, form and text in one pipeline with its source attached — including the after-hours ones. Recordings make the difference between a lead and a wrong number visible, so the cost-per-lead number finally means something.

How a plumbing build actually runs.

Each step depends on the one before it. In this trade more than any other, ads before intake is just a faster way to spend money.

01

Week 1

We take apart what you run now

Ad accounts, map rankings, site speed, who answers at 2am, and how many of last month's calls were actually jobs. You get the findings whether or not you hire us.

02

Weeks 2–4

We fix intake before the ads

Tracking numbers per channel, missed-call text-back live within seconds, call recording on, the booking form cut down, and the handoff into your field service software tested with real jobs.

03

Week 5

We turn on demand capture

LSA, call-only search and maps go live together on the services with margin in them, in the radius you actually drive, running the hours you can actually answer.

04

Ongoing

We cut, then scale

Monthly, we look at booked jobs by channel rather than calls, pull budget off anything that rings without filling the board, and work the existing customer list for the water heaters and repipes already sitting in it.

Proof, once there is proof.

There are no plumbing case studies to show yet, so this page shows none. What goes here when there are is booked jobs by channel and a company willing to take the call — not a number with no job behind it.

Placeholder — real quote needed

A quote from a plumbing company owner goes here, in their own words. The strongest ones name what changed about running the company rather than quoting a number.

Customer name Company, city

Placeholder — real quote needed

A second quote, ideally about a different kind of job to the first, so the two together show the range of the work rather than repeating one story.

Straight answers.

Do we have to answer the phone at 2am?

Somebody or something does. We build the routing and the automatic follow-up — a missed call gets a text back within seconds and the caller lands on the board tagged with the campaign that produced them.

Whether a human picks up is your call: an answering service, an on-call rotation, or accepting that the text back is what holds the lead until morning. What we will not do is point emergency ads at a phone that rings out with nothing behind it.

Do we have to move off ServiceTitan?

No. Your field service software stays the system of record — ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Service Fusion, whatever you run. We sit in front of it and handle the part before the job exists: the ad, the call, the follow-up. Once something books, the attribution travels with it.

Can you get us more repipes and water heaters instead of clogs?

Partly, and honestly: emergency volume is what funds a plumbing company's calendar, so the aim is not to replace it. It is to stop the big jobs depending on whether a tech remembered to mention them.

That means separate campaigns for the considered work, a follow-up sequence on every quote that goes out, and contacting the customer list you already own — which is where most of a plumbing company's unsold replacement work is already sitting.

Do you sell shared leads?

No. Everything we run produces calls that come to you and only you, on numbers you own.

The exception is Google's Local Services Ads, where Google itself may send one homeowner to several businesses. That is Google's product rather than a lead vendor, and it is exactly why speed to first contact gets built before LSA is switched on.

What size plumbing company is this for?

It works best from roughly three trucks upward. Below that the constraint is usually capacity rather than demand, and more emergency calls make the problem worse. We will say so on the call rather than sell you something that will not help.

Do you work with my competitors?

Not in the same market. One plumbing company per market, because we would otherwise be bidding against ourselves on the same keywords with your money.

Who owns the ad accounts?

You do. Accounts are created under your business, we are granted access, and if we part ways that access is removed and everything stays where it is — history, tracking numbers and all.

More jobs. More revenue.

We'll audit what you have, or what you don't, and give you actionable insights you can use, whether you hire us or not.
